Automatic seeds, also known as autoflowering seeds, are cannabis seeds that automatically enter the flowering phase regardless of the amount of light. Unlike regular cannabis plants, which require a change in the light period (usually from 18 hours of light to 12 hours of light), automatic strains automatically begin flowering after a certain period of time, usually 2-4 weeks after germination.

Since they are not dependent on the change of seasons, the plants can be harvested before the cold autumn months without having to wait for a long flowering phase.
